Good afternoon,

Due to risks inherent in offshore boardings, Coast Guard personnel will not be conducting routine inspections/examinations (including Certificate of Compliance exams) at outer anchorages in the Los Angeles - Long Beach port complex.

If extenuating circumstances exist (beyond purely financial reasons) requiring an exam at an outer anchorage, please provide information attesting to these circumstances. Sector LA-LB will evaluate each on a case-by-case basis.
